Ansab Jahangir’s “Ranya” Rekindles The Old World Charm
Ansab Jahangir has returned with enchanting new bridals in the form of “Ranya” and we love them! These traditional attires were created to rekindle the old world charm and make women reminisce about the “good old days” when bridal dresses were incomplete without intricate dabka, tilla and gota embellishments. Ranya consists of the kind of bridal dresses that were worn by our grandmothers and their mothers before them. The kind of dresses that are now part of our heritage.
A scintillating blend of zardozi, kamdani/mukaish work, resham and zarri, these bridals are simply ravishing. The color palette seems to seduce you and bewitch your senses. It includes a gorgeous emerald dress, a gorgeous tangerine kalidaar, a yellow sharara for women looking for Mehendi wear this season. The rest of the collection includes gorgeous red dresses for brides who want to play it safe and wear red on their big day. The rest of the color palette includes magenta, maroon, 3 breathtaking dull gold outfits, paired with contrasting dupattas! The fabrics used in the dupattas include net, organza and maisuri. The dupattas come in different varieties such as marorri chadars and dupattas with chatta patti’s. The silhouettes include cholis, Anarkalis, a lehenga saree and lehengas with cropped cholis.
