Shehla Chatoor’s Muses In A Fashion Face-off! Sona Rafiq v. Tara Sutaria
February 1, 2021

Who wore it better Tara Sutaria or Sona Rafiq?

Sona Rafiq sets the gram on fire in Shehla Chatoor. A natural fashionista heading her own venture named Dawat, the glamorous event management company, Sona Rafiq always manages to look titillating. This diva rocks both eastern and western looks down to the T. In her latest escapade she is seen wearing a signature piece ‘Inaya’ by Shehla Chatoor from her ‘Ruhe’ couture collection. The lavishly ornamented choli/bustier layered with hand embellished pants and beautifully hand crafted paneled skirt. It’s a one-off that is perfect for destination weddings and not only intimate weddings. It carries that oomph factor. The entire collection ‘Ruhe’ offers a heavenly ‘lightness of being’; a signature of the design house’s exquisite heirloom bridals created with timeless craftsmanship. Each artisanal piece of art is crafted with utmost attention to breathtakingly intricate detail. With detail and meticulous signature Shehla Chatoor hand embroideries, are a timeless tale.

Earlier on, the same couture piece was seen on the cover of Elle where Tara Sutaria was seen donning a classy trademark Shehla Chatoor. The only customization made to the dress was that they were a mix and match of Shehla’s separates rather than a two-piece designed by her. Contrasting or the same color, Tara Sutaria prides herself on her dressing style and we do too. Being a vintage lover, Tara hoards on trinkets, loves chic, minimalistic designs that are surefire classics.

Sona Rafiq or Tara Sutaria?

The Verdict

We do love both the looks, in their own way, both personalities have added their own personal touch. The design ‘Inaya’, as is a beauty to look at and in our opinion, no customization whatsoever is needed. For us, Sona definitely looks better in the ensemble, mainly due to the fact that she carries it so well. We feel it’s not just about how a model carries it, but sometimes an individual can just shine through an ensemble only with her personality intact. What are your thoughts on this fashion face-off?
