Zainab Chottani, a name mostly reckons with, started off as a bridal wear designer but now has included prêt and haute couture under her umbrella too. She started off in 1999 and has been pursuing her career, which has now paid off in leaps and bounds. It is flourishing and has survived so many obstacles, which shows Chottani is not one to deter with.
Her Eid prêt 2020 consists mostly of crepe, organza, digital print and net embroideries. Silhouettes are mostly front open, geometric kurtas and kaftans. The collection starts from $100 and goes up to $220. The website gives you the option to pair it with a dupatta or pants which obviously will be charged in addition to the shirt. Her embroidery also ranges from minimal to a full-on formal grandeur whatever floats your boat, this collection has got it. The thing about her collection is that it ranges from diverse to classic to modern all in one go. She is eclectic and prides herself on it. Our personal favorites are – Cream Pearl; a white kurta with intricate embroidery and Chrysolite Rose; a mint kaftan decorated with vintage flowers and intricate embroidery. They both along with the entire collection are beautiful and perfect for any and every occasion, even other than Eid!
